Close to Residence Flora, right in the centre of Sulden/Solda, You will find the tourist office and ski school; here You can book private lessons or courses for adults and children. Nearby are two ski-rentals, one right next to the entrance of Your vacation home.

If You arrive fully equipped and ready for the winter fun, park the car in the garage and store all Your equipment in a dedicated room, where every apartment has a private cabinet with special heaters for ski-shoes & boots. Then easily reach your apartment with the elevator or walk the stairs up to the 2nd floor.

Solda offers nearly 40 km of ski slopes for any skill level, covering all from Ski-kindergarten, for the very first experience, up to black label slopes for experts. These are easily reached with the free of charge ski-bus, which stops right in front of Residence Flora. Natural snow is almost always available from mid November until the beginning of May and You’ll be able to try all kinds of snow sports such as Carving, Snowboarding, Big Foot, snowshoeing and other kinds of freestyle winter sports. For lovers of Nordic cross country skiing find the 7 km path along the valley, which is valued by athletes for high performance trainings. Fun for the whole family is guaranteed by walks in the snow, a ride on the sleigh or a race with the sledge. Even night entertainment is on offer at the toggoban run as well as at a weekly ski race with performance.

Having explored everything Sulden/Solda has to offer You can still choose one of the 13 other ski destinations located in the surrounding area, which all are included in Your Ortles Ski Arena ski-pass.

Summer in Sulden/Solda

Summer in Sulden/Solda offers You the peacefulness of a high mountain village in a generous flora with rare species. Walking in the woods, along the hiking trails leading to one of the ten cabin restaurants in the surroundings, You will spot or even encounter the fauna of this area such as marmots, squirrels, deer, chamois and ibexes. Along the trails You may find also some interesting wood sculptures carved by a local artist. There is a fitness trail, so indulging in the local cuisine will not leave You overweight.

For those with more training, You can book guides at Haus der Berge/ Casa della montagna, to reach the white peaks or cross one of the glaciers in safety. If You love the challenge take a mountain bike or book a thrilling paragliding flight, else go to the Scuola d’Alpinismo Ortles/ Ortler Alpinschule and learn mountain climbing. For those less adventurous, who love to completely relax in our fresh mountain air, a private terrace is available in every apartment. Read a book from our house library or have fun playing some board games and enjoy the sun. Closed by You’ll find a mini golf course, the little museum Alpina Curiosa, the Messner Mountain Museum/Museo and the Sulden Museum/Museo. Explore the fun along the NaturaRonda and venture over the suspension bride. In the neighboring area there are many castles, monasteries and the Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio/ Stilfser Nationalpark houses, as for example Naturatrafoi and Aquaprad.
